Create Connection

A Connection specifies the parameters needed to connect to where your data is located. When you select a Connection type, you are prompted to provide the necessary parameters to connect to that location. 

To create a connection:

  1. Open Integration from the navigation menu and select Connections.
  2. Click Create New Connection at the top of the Connections page.
  3. Enter a name to identify the Connection and select a Connection type from the list.
  4. You are prompted to enter details based on the Connection type.
  5. Click TEST CONNECTION to ensure the Connection can be made successfully.
    If the connection was successful, a confirmation message will appear.

    If the connection was unsuccessful, an error message will appear with the reason for failure.
  6. Click OK to complete creating a connection.
