Left
Description
Returns a specified number of characters from the left side of a string argument's value. A new column is created for the results.
Use
- Argument:
- Select an argument. (String)
- Number Of Characters:
- Enter the number of characters to return from the left side of the argument's value.
- Output field name:
- Enter an output field name.
