Create a Kafka Input

Create an Input for Apache Kafka in Hero Platform_

  1. Open Hero Platform_.
  2. Open Integration from the navigation menu and select Inputs.
  3. Click Create New Input.

  4. Enter a name for the Kafka Input and select a Kafka Connection from the drop-down list.
  5. Configure the Kafka Input data.

    • Enter a topic name.

    • Select a value parser:
      • Text
      • JSON
    • Select the character set.
    • Click the Refresh icon to display field mapping for the Input
    • From the field mapping table:
      • Confirm or change column names.
      • Remove or confirm the arrangement of columns.
    • Click OK.
