Configure Custom Docker Containers

Create custom Docker containers to use as Functions in Flow_Studio.

Add or Configure a Docker Functions

To create a Docker Function:

  1. Click the heading titled Docker Containers on the Administration home page.
  2. Click Create new Docker Function.


  3. Fill in the configuration form:

    • Enter name for the Function.
    • Click Upload new image... and select the Docker image from the local file system.
      • Wait for the image to finish uploading.
    • Enter the container port number.
    • Click Add field to enter an input field name(s) and assign it a data type. 
    • Click Add field to enter an output field name(s) and assign it a data type. 
    • Click OK to save the custom Docker Function.

View Saved Docker Functions

To view a list of the Docker Functions in Hero_Flow:

  1. Click the heading titled Docker Container on the Administration home page.
  2. A list is displayed of all Docker Functions saved in Hero_Flow.

Clicking the gear icon under the Settings heading allows for editing the Function configuration. 

Use a Docker Function in a Flow

To access a Docker Function in Flow Studio:

  1. Click the add button in the Flow.
  2. Under the heading Containerized function, select the Docker Function.
