Create a MongoDB Input

To create an Input for MongoDB, you must have a MongoDB Connection.

Create an Input for MongoDB in Hero_Flow

  1. Open Hero_Flow.
  2. Click Inputs from the menu on the left.
  3. Click Create New Input.

  4. Enter a name for the MongoDB Input and select a MongoDB Connection from the drop-down list.
  5. Configure the MongoDB Input data.

    • Enter the MongoDB collection name.
    • Check the box if manual partitioning of column input is required.
    • Select the operation to perform:
      • Aggregate - advanced than data retrieval option.
      • Find - command to query data.
    • Enter the MongoDB query parameters.
    • Select how partitions are handled:
      • Sampling Partition
      • Single Partition
    • Enter the key field.
    • Enter the number of documents to bring in from the collection.
    • Click the Refresh icon to display field mapping for the Input
    • From the field mapping table:
      • Confirm or change column names.
      • Confirm or change column data types.
      • Remove or confirm the arrangement of columns.
    • Click OK.
